The Smart Probe measures temperature between 35˚F (1.7˚C) and 400˚F (204˚C).

Below are example temperature ranges when using the probe:

  • Sous Vide: 129°F  - 155° F (53°C-68°C) 

  • Confit (Oil): 122°F  - 248° F (50°C-120°C)

  • Jams & Jellies (Water + Sugar + Fruit): ~221° F (~105°C) 

  • Candy (Water + Sugar): 219°F  - 320° F (104°-160°C) 

  • Frying (Oil): 251°F  - 376° F (135°-191°C)

Note: If the metal portion of the probe is in temperatures higher than 400˚F (204˚C), the app may display a warning message, but the probe will not be damaged.
