You should expect to see the temperature in Cue cookware fluctuate as it heats up to the desired target temperature. This is because Cue-enabled cooktops will apply heat to the cookware in "waves" (behind the scenes). The first wave involves heating up to the desired temperature as fast as possible, so you may see your cookware overshoot the desired temp for a moment, and then drop back down. During subsequent "waves" you'll see the cookware "hone in" on the target temperature. The time it takes for a Cue system to accurately hold a temperature can vary from several seconds up to 2 minutes.
